Irina Pilvere is the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Social Development at Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies. Her previous roles include Director of the Rural Support Service and Deputy State Secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture, where she influenced national agricultural policies. A Doctor of Economics in Agrarian Economics, Irina combines deep academic expertise with practical policy experience to advance sustainable economic development in the agricultural sector.
